At 16 weeks pregnant, will they do a tummy ultrasound or a transvaginal ultrasound?

I have a 16 week appointment on May 3rd and I'm wondering if they will do a tummy ultrasound at that time or a transvaginal ultrasound? At what point do they definitely start doing tummy ultrasounds? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
